Virtual College Planning Workshops
Alleviate the Stress of Senior Year! Spend a week organizing your college to-do list and checking off tasks that will get you closer to your college acceptance! In this workshop, you will be given the time and tools to complete your college applications and a working draft of your college essay with guidance from a college counselor and an experienced English teacher.
You will need a working laptop or device such as an i-Pad (no cell phones), a strong Wi-Fi connection, and your unofficial high school transcript (if you are not a John Carroll student). We will meet each day from 10:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. for a virtual session, and you should prepare to complete a minimum of two hours of work outside of the virtual lesson each day.
This workshop is open to all high school seniors planning on attending a four-year institution. Students must be able to attend every day in its entirety. If you have any questions, please e-mail Kelly Smith at ksmith@johncarroll.org or Tara Milburn at tmilburn@johncarroll.org
